Hear it. Read it. LEARN IT! The secret to learning Spanish (or any language) fast is to get lots of comprehensible and challenging input over a short period of time. But finding text/audio with just the right amount of new words is often difficult. Assuming you do find such a text/audio, you will still spend a substantial amount of time wading through words and constructs you already know, looking up words you don't, rewinding audio tapes, and finding your place again. With Fusion bilingual eBooks, you can read and listen to difficult material with many new words and sentence structures without getting bogged down. Since the material is authentic text, it will hold your interest and you will stay engaged with the story.

Fusion bilingual eBooks (dual language eBooks) can be used in a variety of ways, but for most individuals the most effective is the Guess-Confirm-Reinforce method: - Guess: Listen to and read the highlighted selection in Spanish.
- Confirm: If you are unsure of anything in the sentence, glance over to the parallel text.
- Reinforce: If you misunderstood more than one word in your first pass (the guess), read and listen to the text again in Spanish.
- Click next (or tap the down-arrow) and repeat.
Fusion Reader synthesizes the audio using the SAPI TTS voices you already have on your system. If you haven't recently acquired a quality TTS voice see the offerings at NextUp, Cepstral and SodelsCot.

Las aventuras de Huckleberry Finn / The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Original English:
Mark Twain,
1835-1910
Published in the USA in 1884 and set about 50 years prior, Adventures of "Huckleberry Finn" describes the travels of a boy (Huck) and an escaped slave (Jim) as they make their way down the Mississippi river in Southeast United States. The attitudes that characterize America today are in large part either nostalgia for or a reaction against the attitudes described in this book. Although the language of the original English text is “rough” compared to the English spoken by most Americans today, the vocabulary is rich with commonly spoken, but not commonly written terms.
